Teddy and Rascal have a New Friend

Friends are the best

They can bring a sunny smile to a gloomy day, create and share adventures with you or they can sit calmly and just look out the window.

My little dragon is adjusting to his new life in my house. The nice thing is I have a lot of windows and Tully loves to look outside.  He has gone out a few times but really prefers to be with me when he does.
He is a very friendly little chap and when I found out his name is Tully it made perfect sense because his name means "peaceful" in Gaelic. His full name is Sir Tully Tinder.
I was not sure how Teddy and Rascal would adjust to having a dragon in their home.  I mean have you EVER heard of Dragons and Cats together? This has to be a first.

Tully was enjoying watching the outside and was quietly swishing his tail and making a purring like sound, like a cat! My dragon does not talk but makes different sounds for different things. I will write about that another time as I am still learning.

I noticed Rascal had wandered over and as curious cats are likely to do began to look out in the same direction Tully was. What did they see?

Now, both were twitching their tails.

I adopted Rascal from a shelter when he was almost one.  He had been returned by his previous owner because he ate cords in the home.  And yes, it was true, he did and very expensive ones but he is a sweet little guy - like my dragon.

Rascal, Sir Tully Tinder and Teddy

I walked away to do some office work and returned and found this! All three looking out the window, in the same direction with their tails swishing along the floor.  Clearly, despite drastic differences they have become friends.

Fur covered and fire breathing critter BFFs.

I am going to call my Best Friend right now!
